The International Neuroethics Society (INS) will be meeting in Washington D.C. on November 13 and 14 this year for their annual meeting. The Annual INS meeting will kick off with a public forum on Robots and Society. Last year in San Diego, INS had its first public event on Neurogaming and it was a success! If you are interested in cognitive and affective science and decision-making, or even have a side-interest in robotics and ethics, you should consider attending.
The Annual INS meeting is always a satellite conference of the larger Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Annual Meeting. Last year there were awesome panels on new empirical findings in moral psychology, brain-computer interfaces and many more. This year, there is an amazing line-up of speakers and talks scheduled on President Obama’s BRAIN Initiative, Neurolaw, Neuroscience and Human Rights, and even an in-depth discussion on the Future of Neuroscience Research.
